Routine Maintenance Of Heavy Duty Semi Trailers
I. Tire Inspection of Heavy Duty Semi Trailers
The tire pressure should be checked at room temperature every month. If it is below the normal standard, the tire pressure should be supplemented in time. The air pressure should not be too high or too low, otherwise, it will affect the safety of driving. Check the tire for cracking and replace the tire in time if there is a potential safety hazard. When choosing tires, they should be of the same type.
II. Maintenance and Inspection of Batteries in Heavy Duty Semi Trailers
Check whether the battery is fixed firmly, the electrolyte should be between the upper limit and the lower limit. When approaching the lower line, the electrolyte or distilled water should be added to the upper line in time. Keep battery positive and negative cables in good contact, and keep the battery clean and dry. Vehicles with long storage time need to remove the positive and negative cables of batteries and restart the engine about 20 minutes after half a month. If the electricity is obviously insufficient, charge it in time.
III. Inspection of Clutch Master Pump Level of Heavy Duty Semi Trailers
Clutch liquid level between high and low liquid level is normal. If below the standard line, it may be the main pump or sub-pump bowl damage. When the engine is in operation, it will be difficult or impossible to archive. Please go to the nearest maintenance station immediately for maintenance.
IV. Inspection of Brake Level of Heavy Duty Semi Trailers
Braking is also normal between high and low positions. If the brake fluid is close to or below the lower limit, it indicates that there may be leakage or excessive wear of brake shoes in the system. It should be repaired at the maintenance station in time. When adding brake fluid, pay attention to adding brake fluid of the same type to prevent damage to the leather bowl, and protect the paint to prevent corrosion of the paint surface.
V.Inspection of Coolant Level of Heavy Duty Semi Trailers Engine
When the engine is in hot state, do not open the radiator cover, otherwise, it may be scalded by spilled coolant or high-temperature steam. After engine cooling, check the liquid level of coolant should be between full and low position, otherwise distilled water or pure water or refrigerant should be added, and the liquid level height after adding water should not exceed full position. If it is found that the cooling fluid decreases rapidly in a short period of time, check whether the cooling system has leaked or go to the maintenance station to check.
