The Operation and Use of Fence Semi-trailers
It is necessary to check and tighten all external connections and fasteners before using a new fence semi-trailer. And please pay attention to the correct and firm installation of spring washers, split pins and other locking devices.
1. Connection between the fence semi-trailer and the tractor
(1) Before connecting, it is necessary to check and clean the surface of the tractor's traction seat and the sand, dust or other foreign matter on the fence semi traction pin and traction pin plate. It also needs to check if there is enough grease.
(2) In order to connect smoothly, the supporting device should be operated so that the traction pin plate of the fence semi-trailer is compatible with the traction height of the tractor. In general, the trailer traction pin plate is about 10 to 30mm lower than the middle position of the tractor traction seat. Otherwise, sometimes it can not be connected. At the same time, the traction seat, traction pin and related components will be damaged.
(3) Operate the locking mechanism of the traction seat to open the locking block, and then check whether the locking block is opened in a free state.
(4) Reverse the tractor backward so that the traction pin of the fence semi-trailer enters the opening of the locking mechanism from the V-shaped opening of the traction seat. It also makes the locking block rotate, the locking block and the traction pin are automatically locked.
(5) Check whether the locking mechanism of the traction seat has locked the traction pin and whether the locking is stable and reliable.
(6) Move the tractor slightly forward and check the connection.
2. Pneumatic connection of fense semi-trailer
(1) Connect the two air joints of the tractor to the two air joints on the fence semi-trailer respectively.
Note: Do not connect them wrongly. The right side of the forward direction of the fence semi-trailer is the air joint of the inflation pipeline (red). The air joint of the control pipeline (yellow) (the handshake corresponds to the color connection of the gas line) is on the left.
(2) After the air joints are connected, unscrew the semi-hanging air connection on the tractor to separate so that the air circuit is in a ventilated state. Otherwise, air cannot be supplied to the brake system of the fence semi-trailer and the brake system cannot work.
(3) Start the engine and observe the barometer in the cab, and increase the pressure in the air storage tank of the tractor and fence semi-trailer to the specified pressure (above 600kpa).
(4) Check if there is any air leakage in the air circuit and whether the brake system is working normally.
3. Circuit connection of fense semi-trailer
(1) Insert the cable connection plug of the tractor into the cable connection socket of the front end of the warehouse fence semi-trailer.
(2) Check whether the electrodes are well combined and confirm whether the trailer work normally.
4. Diving of fense semi-trailer
(1) Before starting, correctly control the supporting device to retract it to the top dead center, and press the handle in and hang it on the hook.
(2) Check whether the tire pressure is normal.
(3) Check whether the spare tire is properly placed on the spare tire lifter and whether the nut is tightly locked.
(4) Check whether the air pressure of the air brake system is within the specified range (above 600kpa).
(5) Turn the parking brake handwheel in the opposite direction to ensure that the brake wire rope is slack and the brake is completely released before driving.
5. Separation of fense semi-trailer
(1) Try to select flat and solid ground to separate tractors and fence semi-trailers. A hard plate-like object should be placed under the supporting plate if it is separated on the soft ground in order to prevent the supporting device from being unable to connect due to the sinking of the load.
(2) Rotate the parking brake wheel clockwise to fully stop the brake.
(3) It is necessary to firstly turn off the gas circuit connection and separation switch of the fence semi trailer on the tractor. And then remove the inflation and control quick joint of the tractor from the fence semi-trailer.
(4) Operate the plate of the supporting device to make it continue to rotate the crank after the supporting disc lands on the ground. The fence semi-trailer should be lifted by 20 to 55mm to exit the tractor.
(5) Operate the locking mechanism of the traction seat to open the locking block.
(6) Slowly drive out the tractor and separate the tractor and the fence semi trailer to separate the index lock from the tractor seat.
(7) After separation, check whether there are any abnormalities in each part of the fence semi-trailer. And unscrew the drain valve at the bottom of the air storage tank to drain the accumulated water.
